School Health Room
Supporting students’ health needs in coordination with the home, school, and community — organized in accordance with the School Laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Fever Policy
Keep your student at home if they have a fever (temperature greater than 100.4°F). Students may return when they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the need for fever-reducing medicine like Tylenol, Motrin/Advil, or Cold Medicine.
Vomiting & Diarrhea
Keep your student home if they are vomiting or have uncontrolled diarrhea. Students may return to school when they have not vomited for at least 24 hours. Students with uncontrolled diarrhea need to stay home.
Borrowed Clothing
If your student borrowed a change of clothes from the healthroom, please wash them and return them to the nurse. If your child was given new underwear or socks, please keep those items.
Communicable Illness
If your student has a communicable illness, please notify the school nurse right away so we can take appropriate steps to protect the health of all our students and staff.
