Montessori in the Upper Elementary grades will take on a new look from that of the Lower Elementary classrooms as your child continues to develop.

Designed to Match Your Child’s Development
Your child’s Upper Elementary classroom environment and instruction is designed to match your child’s development. While there are still works available in classrooms, they are no longer the focus and they may take a different form.
Students are beginning to apply the skills they learned through those concrete foundations in the Lower Elementary classrooms to the concepts being taught in their new classrooms. You will notice long-term research projects, novel studies, group investigations, and more.
This shift is in an effort to align with their development as well as prepare them for the transitions coming at the end of their time in 6th grade.
